Paul Ingles - 

Paul Ingles (www.paulingles.com) has been in radio since 1975 with experience as a producer, reporter, recording engineer, editor, on-air personality, trainer and manager. More recently as a free lance producer/reporter, he has filed reports for NPR news magazines and newscasts and numerous other public radio programs including Justice Talking, On The Media, The Splendid Table, The Looseleaf Book Company, Beyond Computers, and Pacifica Network News. 

He has produced programs on music, popular culture, media literacy and other topics that have been distributed either by NPR or independently to public radio stations around the world. Paul's nationally distributed radio programs include: Do You Hear What I Hear-A Holiday Folk Tour with Judy Collins; George Harrison - An Appreciation; TV Turnoff Week; The Open Mic Folk Series; The State of Local TV News; The Human Experience- Perspectives in Anthropology; In Search of James Brown; The Day John Lennon Died.

Paul has won production awards in national competition from the National Federation of Community Broadcasters in 1995, 1996, 1998 and 1999 as well as New Mexico Associated Press Awards in 1999 and 2000 and an Ohio Educational Broadcasters Award in 1992. From 1994 - 2002, he served as Production Director of public radio station KUNM, in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

His interest in rock 'n' roll history goes back many years but his serious research into the topic began in 1987 when he designed a 'History of Rock 'n' Roll' course to teach in adult education programs. Paul's work on THE ROCK HISTORY REFERENCE GUIDE began in January of 1992. By 1994 he had completed four volumes which are now in use at radio stations around the world. Paul is a 1978 graduate of Wake Forest University where he received his B.A. in English. In 1992, Paul was awarded a Masters degree in Applied Communication Theory and Methodology from Cleveland State University.
